Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) serves several Missouri counties west of Metropolitan St. Louis. The facility includes a 64,900 sf office, warehouse and vehicle storage building, and a 12,000 sf vehicle maintenance and covered storage building, all located on 14 acres.

The office is constructed as a tilt-up concrete structure and the vehicle storage and maintenance building are pre-engineered metal buildings. Set in a suburban industrial park location, approval of the aesthetics of the building and visual screening of the material storage yard required special attention and an integrated design solution. The building fa├žade was utilized to provide a large portion of the screening and created an attractive image along the Highway. The scale of the entrance and roof elements were utilized to provide visibility from the street due to the large set back from the lower elevation and highway.
