Consolidated Electric Cooperative (CEC) turned to Cooperative Building Solutions to solve the facility and infrastructure challenges a growing membership presented. A master plan was developed capitalizing on an additional seven acres of property, solving the long-term needs of the Cooperative. The new design provides an additional entrance drive, separating public traffic from that of CEC’s service and construction vehicles. The new headquarters includes administration and operations offices, as well as a centralized hub for critical functions. Expansion of the existing warehouse and covered loading area provides improved efficiency for CEC’s service crew, eliminating congestion and down time.
