Construction of a new headquarter campus was recently completed at Fannin Electric Cooperative in Bonham, Texas. Founded in 1938, Fannin EC currently maintains over 2,000 miles of line, with more than 12,000 meters served in parts of 5 surrounding counties. Fannin EC’s double-digit load growth over the last several years led to a need for improved facilities to better accommodate their staff and serve their members.
CBS worked closely with the Fannin EC team to plan and design a campus to best suit their unique needs. The project consisted of a new 18,505 square foot office space featuring multiple conference rooms equipped with multimedia capabilities, an employee break room, and convenient drive-thru window. The new 8,688 square foot warehouse boasts higher racking and a floorplan that allows for more efficient loading and unloading. Additional building highlights include energy efficient lighting and ventilation, improved security features, and updated technology throughout the campus.
