Union Power included 134,500 sf.ft. of new construction and demolition of 4 existing buildings throughout a phased construction schedule.
Office Building: The 45,000 sf.ft. 2 story office building includes a 545 KW backup generator, full gym, compartmentalized assembly room, hardened space constructed to house a full dispatch team, customer payment portals and an employee cafeteria. Exterior features include brick and corrugated metal skin, fully functioning drive through, and vestibules at both customer and employee entrances.
Warehouse: The Warehouse is approximately 30,000 sq.ft. and includes both overhead garage doors and a loading dock. The warehouse is also where the interior containment pit is located. This is a pre-engineered metal building with a brick elevation feature facing the front of the facility.
Vehicle Storage: This 21,000 sq.ft. pre engineered building consists of both enclosed and covered vehicle storage. The enclosed vehicle storage includes 20 overhead doors and various maintenance features, such as yard hydrants between each door.
Maintenance Shop: This 10,000 sf building includes multiple oil distribution pumps, an overhead crane, multiple air feeds and a mezzanine for storage.
Site improvements include new concrete and asphalt paving. Both customer and employee parking. A redundant fiber feed to each building. A new detention pond and a gravel lay down yard surrounding the covered material storage building.
