Clay County Electric Cooperative has decided to team up with Cooperative Building Solutions on a new headquarters facility in Corning, AR.
The new headquarters will be comprised of 50,000 square feet of office, vehicle storage, warehouse, and maintenance facilities. Clay County Electric has decided to utilize Insulated Concrete Formed Walls (ICF) to allow for an energy efficient building envelope. A brick façade will be installed over the ICF wall structure along with a standing seam metal roof.
The HVAC system will include geothermal wells and geothermal heat pumps.
The project is on schedule and expected to be complete in June 2016.
